A few years ago, we were living the classic New York hustle—Elias as a biochemist, and Leyla in the high-stress world of fashion media. We were successful, but we were burnt out. And the first place it showed was our skin.

Searching for a better way, we traveled to South Korea—the global epicenter of skincare innovation. From the advanced labs of Seoul to the quiet temples of Jirisan, we immersed ourselves in the philosophy of K-Beauty.

We discovered that Korean skincare isn't just about "looking" good; it's about the integrity of the skin barrier. We saw women in their 70s with "glass skin" because they focused on hydration, recovery, and gentleness, rather than aggression.

The "AURA" Epiphany
With Elias’s background in biochemistry, we realized the missing link.
